The double bitt bollard is a standard heavy-duty marine mooring fitting, integrally cast from high strength cast steel with an integrated thick base plate. The dual cylindrical bitt post design delivers stable bearing capacity, widely used to fasten mooring ropes during ship berthing, anchoring and towing operations.
