Wire Rope Nipper is a heavy-duty clamping tool widely used in marine, shipbuilding, lifting and rigging applications. It is also known as wire rope grip or cable nipper, specially built to firmly hold steel wire rope during rope tensioning, hoisting, mooring and vessel rigging work.
This nipper adopts cast steel main body with green marine protective coating for rust resistance. The two-handle screw tightening mechanism allows operators to quickly open, clamp and lock the wire rope manually. The built-in brass lining protects the wire rope surface from crushing and abrasion, maintaining the integrity of the steel cable under load. The integrated lifting eye ring enables connection to shackles, hooks or other rigging components.
