DF-488 Heavy Chock is cast steel ship mooring bollard produced in our own foundry, manufactured to ASTM A27-70-36 casting standard. It is a critical deck fitting designed to secure mooring lines when vessels berth at ports, docks and offshore terminals.
We complete product design, mould making, casting, heat treatment, machining and surface finishing all within our factory. The cast steel body delivers high tensile strength and excellent impact resistance, built to withstand continuous dynamic tension from mooring ropes, wave surges and tidal load fluctuations. Smooth rounded horn profiles reduce rope abrasion and extend service life of mooring lines.
Every unit undergoes strict factory inspection, material testing and load verification before shipment. Material test certificates and marine survey documents can be supplied for new shipbuilding, vessel retrofits and harbour construction projects.
