DF-343-5 Watertight Raised Hatch Cover is a raised coaming (raised neck) watertight hatch, widely fitted on ship deck and tank tops for compartment access, tank inspection, cleaning and maintenance. Different from flush deck hatches, this raised hatch comes with an elevated coaming, which effectively prevents deck water, rain and seawater splashes from flowing into tanks or compartments, delivering reliable watertight performance for marine tank systems. Equipped with multiple swing toggle quick-release clamps, this hatch can be fully opened or closed without any tools. The hinged connection keeps the cover attached to the coaming when open, avoiding falling or losing. The full perimeter rubber gasket provides continuous watertight sealing under rated working pressure. The whole unit is fabricated from carbon steel and finished with heavy-duty orange marine epoxy anti-corrosion paint. It is a standard marine outfitting item for cargo ships, fishing vessels, work boats, ballast tanks, fuel oil tanks, fresh water tanks and sewage tanks. Material upgrade to stainless steel and custom dimensions are available for bulk shipyard orders.

A: Traditional bolt-type hatches require loosening dozens of bolts, which is slow. Our multi toggle clamps can be opened and closed manually without tools. It greatly speeds up tank inspection, cleaning and sampling work on board ships.
A: Standard version is carbon steel with orange marine epoxy coating. For heavy saltwater or corrosive media, we can upgrade to SUS304 or SUS316L stainless steel. Gasket can be NBR (oil), EPDM (water) or silicone (high temperature).
